If
you are like a few of us out there try to get the guide after the
location changed, it might be helpful to read the following
information.
First
you need to know that the new location to receive your guide and
uploads is on G1-03 You will need a good signal quality to be
able to download the guide.
If
you do get the right message to go to G1-03, and still don't get guide.
"check your quality level for tranps/channel 3. If you don't get
sufficient quality you will not get the guide. If you do get a good
quality level, you will need to get a re-hit and also make sure your
authorized for the IPG guide, also be on a correct Digital channel to
take a digital re-hit and check to see if your re-hits have gone
through on the trip counter (opts. 6,,,5) . If you do not receive the
rehits..double check your on a digital channel with good quality level.
If
your system is not going to G1-03 at night to upload the guide you
might have to do a soft reboot. To do this follow these instructons.
STEP 1: TURN
THE DISH TO SATELLITE G0-101
STEP 2: VERIFY
THAT THERE IS A GREEN LIGHT LABLED “DC” ON THE FRONT PANEL OF THE
RECEIVER
STEP 3: PROCEED
TO DO A SOFT RESET BY UNPLUGGING THE RECEIVER FOR 1 MINUTE ONLY
STEP 4: AFTER
THE RECEIVER COMES OUT OF WARM UP, WAIT AN ADDITIONAL
10 MINUTES BEFORE CHANGING THE CHANNEL
MOVE TO SATELLITE G1-03 OR G1-167
STEP 5: PRESS THE GUIDE BUTTON AND THE GUIDE SHOULD TAKE JUST A FEW MINUTES TO LOAD
IF THE GUIDE DOESN’T LOAD
AFTER A FEW MINUTES:
AN ADDITIONAL REHIT MAY BE NECESSARY

NOW ATTEMPT TO
LOAD THE IPG AGAIN BY PRESSING YOUR
GUIDE BUTTON AND WITHIN MINUTES THE DOWNLOAD
SHOULD BE COMPLETE.
