Need to know if you
received your rehit?
How do you
know if you need a rehit on your satellite system?
Do
I need a subscription re"hit"? or am I having satellite problems?
- Are your channels saying no subscription?
- When you press setup then 0 or on a 4DTV option 9 then 0 on the
last line, if it says NS (not authorized) you will need to call your
provider for a rehit.
Satellite
Problems a rehit will not fix.
- Your picture looks scrambled and snowy
- When you press setup or on a 4DTV option 9 , then 0 and nothing
happens
- If the channel is not part of your package or they were never
ordered
- If your receiver is not responding to the remote
- On a 4DTV you get the message " please wait searching for
signal"
- Your not getting the correct satellite, example: The receiver
indicates you are on G5-15 but when you check the channel it is not HBO.
How
do you know if you received a rehit?
For C-Band
Customers
-
Go
to any Subscription channel you are able to receive signals. for
example, any channel that when you press set up or on
a 4DTV option 9
you would get 4 options not just 3
-
We typically choose channel G5-18 for analog and G0-07 for digital.
-
Press "Setup" or on 4DTV option 9, then 0
-
On line 7 the last four digits are the trip counter
-
Press 0 again and this will reset the counter to 00-00
-
When you see the trip counter increase like 01-00 or 00-01 you have
received your rehit.
For 4DTV
and need to know if you received your rehit
- Place your satellite on G0-07
- Press Option 6 5
- Watch the trip counter on line 7 when the last digits increase
you have received your rehit.
How can
you make sure you received the signal after you place your order for
programming.
- We send our signals in this order
- First put your system on G5-18 for the analog signal
- You can verify that you have received the signal by the
information above
- If you have a 4DTV and have ordered both analog and digital
programming, you must then go to G0-07 to receive the digital
signal.
- The digital signal will arrive approximately 5 minutes after the
analog signal.
